Shore power converters




ASEA Power Systems' line of high performance Shore Power Converters set new standards for size, weight, efficiency, cost, and performance. Power Levels range from 8-105kVA (1 Phase) to 25-750kVA (3 Phase). Each converter will accept any input (Shore Power) service between 40-70Hz and 170-520VAC, producing the desired, pre-programmed output power form required by your yacht.

Systems exist in three different cooling configurations:
  • forced air,
  • air-to-water heat-exchanged, and
  • oil-to-water heat-exchanged.
Also, most converter models have various available chassis configurations created to ease their fit into unique installation locations. The Models AC08 and AC12 Shore Power Converters provide single phase power up to 8kVA and 12kVA load levels. The system is designed for bulkhead installations and can serve as a building block for larger, modular applications (or in pairs for split grid distribution systems). Each system comes equipped with wide-range voltage input and auto-restart.
The Models AC15 and AC18 Shore Power Converters provide single phase power up to 15kVA and 18kVA load levels. The system is designed for bulkhead installations and can serve as a building block for larger, modular applications (or in pairs for split grid distribution systems). Each system comes equipped with wide-range voltage input and auto-restart.
Models AC24, AC30 and AC36 Shore Power Converters provide single phase power at 24kVA (100A), 30kVA (125A) and 36kVA (150A) load levels. Each system is designed for deck-mount installations and can serve as a building block for larger, modular 3 Phase applications (or in pairs for split grid distribution systems). Each system comes with wide-range voltage input, dual shore cord inputs, and auto-restart.
Models AC25-1, AC30-1, AC36-1, AC45-1, and AC54-1 are 1 Phase output, single cabinet systems ranging in power from 25kVA to 54kVA. Models AC50-1/2 thru AC105-1/3 are multi-cabinet, paralleled systems ranging in power from 50kVA to 105kVA. Each system comes equipped with wide-range voltage input, 1 or 3 Phase input, and auto-restart. Standard options include seamless transfer, dual shore cords (paralleled systems), and remote touch panel displays. Each Converter's size and weight are unmatched in today's marketplace. A 30kVA system measures 40.00"H x 13.75"W x 26.11"D @ 472lbs and a 54kVA system measures 41.00"H x 23.88"W x 30.25"D @ 890lbs.
